Coach Ruben began training mixed martial arts in 2008 at the age of 21 in Santa Fe, New Mexico under Tait Fletcher. Ruben developed a deep passion for the sport of Jiu Jitsu and eventually left MMA behind to gave his complete attention to Jiu Jitsu. Ruben would go on to earn his Jiu Jitsu Black Belt from Eddie Bravo and Tait Fletcher in 2015.

Coach Jenn first began training Jiu Jitsu in Los Angeles under Eddie Bravo, she received her blue belt and purple from Sensei Eddie and went on to receive her brown belt from Ruben Rivera. She has competed all throughout her Jiu Jitsu career; from Ibjjf tournaments to professional events. She is a former United States Marine, mother, and wife.
